Average rank can hide points where you drop out of the top 3. SoLV is the share of geo-grid points where your listing appears in the Local Pack.
A grid point counts when your listing is in the top 3 for that point. Points outside the top 3 do not count.
You choose a 3x3 grid on the trial and Starter plan, or a grid from 3x3 up to 11x11 on Professional and Agency Pro. SoLV is top-3 points divided by the number of points on that grid.
The grid shows which points are in the top 3 and which are not, so you can see where visibility falls off instead of relying on a single average rank.
Illustration only. This slider is not a forecast and not a customer result. It shows top-3 points divided by 9.

Tools for checking Google Maps ranks, comparing nearby listings, and exporting a report you can print.
Trial and Starter use a 3x3 grid. Professional and Agency Pro can use a grid from 3x3 to 11x11, with an adjustable radius around the business.
After a scan, MapScout compares your review count and categories with nearby listings and lists follow-up actions from that data.
Shows the review-count gap between your listing and another listing returned in the same scan.
Agency Pro can open a client report that uses your logo and brand color, then print or save it as a PDF from the browser.
When you have more than one scan, the dashboard compares review counts, ratings, and categories between those scans.
Starter includes 5 campaigns, Professional 20, and Agency Pro 100. Each campaign is stored separately.
