• Attribution & Marketing Data: Standard UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), referring URLs, and landing timestamps stored via local browser storage or cookies.
• Usage & Performance Metrics: Web interaction telemetry, IP addresses, browser user agent strings, and device types collected via hosting and analytics providers.

3. Third-Party Infrastructure & Data Processors

To provide high-availability rank tracking and secure identity services, MapScout relies on vetted third-party sub-processors:

• Supabase: Used for secure user authentication, session state, and Postgres database persistence. User records and campaign data are stored in secure Supabase cloud infrastructure.
• Vercel: Our application frontend and serverless edge functions are hosted and delivered via Vercel’s global CDN infrastructure.
• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management for paid tiers (Starter, Professional, Agency Pro) are handled directly by Stripe. We do not store raw credit card numbers on our servers.
• Mapping & Geo APIs: OpenStreetMap and public search endpoints utilized to retrieve public business ranking metadata for geo-grid heatmaps.

We use collected data strictly to:

• Provide, maintain, and calculate 3x3 to 11x11 geo-grid ranking heatmaps and Share of Local Voice (SoLV™) reports.
• Manage your user account, verify free trial scan allowances, and process subscription upgrades/cancellations.
• Send critical system notifications, scan completion alerts, and customer support responses.
• Diagnose technical faults, prevent fraudulent scan spamming, and optimize platform speed.

MapScout uses standard HTTP cookies and browser localStorage to maintain your authenticated login session, remember UI preferences (such as heatmap overlays), and track marketing attribution parameters (UTMs). We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL in transit and AES-256 at rest) across all communications with Supabase and Vercel. We retain your campaign audit history for as long as your account remains active. You may delete individual campaigns or request full account erasure at any time.
